MSNBC is “Out of the Closet”………..  Out, that is, for Lieberal causes!

MSNBC must have thought that the right to free speech means they are “free” to pretend to be a news outlet and then, promote lieberal causes.  Was that “closet”  too small for their ginormous egos?   After all, they are so much smarter and tolerant than the rest of us.  We NEED someone to tell us how to vote.  With the assumption of superiority,  MSNBC is coming right out and telling viewers how to vote.  The only surprise is that they have waited so long.

The Democratic Party’s national convention in Charlotte, N.C., may have doubled down on insulting the U.S. military community.

The Democratic National Committee has already apologized for using a photo of four Soviet-era Russian warships in a giant stage backdrop intended to illustrate the party’s support for military personnel and veterans.

That huge image, visible in the Time Warner Cable Arena during speeches by Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry and retired Admiral John B. Nathman, also depicted a synchronized formation of jet aircraft that convention-goers assumed were American fighter planes.

But the F-5 fighter planes in the photo are part of the air force of Turkey, a nation whose government is now jailing journalists and establishing Islam as a state religion.

Brad Woodhouse, a spokesman for the Democratic National Committee, did not respond when the The Daily Caller asked why the convention planners displayed Turkish-flown aircraft alongside Russian warships while seeking support from the American military community.

On Sept. 12, Democrats apologized for using the picture of Soviet-era, Russian-operated ships after the slip up was first reported by the Navy Times. The Navy Times also received a tip that the planes depicted may have been from the Turkish Air Force. (NAVAL EXPERT: Ships shown during Democratic convention tribute to veterans were Russian)

The vessels, with their distinct radars and blue-cross-motif Russian naval flags, occupied the center of the massive backdrop. The aircraft were depicted flying in a seven-plane formation on the upper right.

At least three of the ships in the image were designed and built by the Soviet totalitarian state that killed 20 million of its own citizens. Amid steady pressure from the U.S. military, the Soviet Union collapsed in 1989, marking its defeat in the four-decade Cold War. One of the warships may now be part of the Ukrainian Navy.

The Russian ships and Turkish aircraft were shown during the final night of the Charlotte convention on Sept. 6, shortly before President Barack Obama accepted his party’s nomination to serve a second term.

The image first appeared in the closing minutes of an address by Sen. Kerry.

Obama is “a commander-in-chief who gives our troops the tools and training they need in war,” Kerry said, reinforced by visuals of foreign ships and aircraft operated by foreign-trained military personnel.

Democrats — the lowest, “common” denominator

Democrats brag that they accept anyone into their party.  And, it’s true.

For example, they accept liars.  Wasserman-Schultz is just the latest Democrat to say one thing, deny the comment, and then be proven a liar by a recorded conversation.  Harry Reid does it so often that no one even pays attention to his lies any more.  And, Biden?  It’s sad that, as Clint Eastwood said, Biden is the intellectual genius of the Democrat party.  And, yet, Biden is just a grin with a body behind it!  Still,  Democrats want Biden to be one step away from the Presidency.  Not only are liars acceptable, but so is idiocy, I guess.

They accept politicians who commit libel and then claim it was the “other” guy who did the dirty deed.  Witness the repeated hints that Republicans are Nazi-like and the S. Carolina Democrat party chairman who compared Nikki Haley to Eva Braun…..oh, yes, another Nazi!  And, then, they charge that Republicans who target high unemployment or the $16 million deficit are using underhanded tactics to win!

Democrats are NOT mainstream Americans!  They even tried to remove God from their platform.   Each year, they replace more and more language that refers to God.  This year, they replaced God, then screamed and hollered when He was put back into their platform.  President Obama acts surprised that God was no longer welcome at the DNC even when everyone knows that the platform is based on his own philosophy.   Does he really think we are so stupid as to believe that someone ELSE removed God from the platform?  Well, maybe after 4 years of blaming President Bush, the hurricanes, the European economic crisis, Katrina, yada yada, for all the problems of the United States and the world, Obama is still looking for a scapegoat for his own failures.

Democrats do NOT back Israel.  This year, they removed a reference to Jerusalem, the capitol of Israel, from their platform!  Well, they did until the public rebelled and then, President Obama — once again surprised — “insisted”  Jerusalem be reinstated in the platform.  Right.

Democrats revere the lowest form of behaviour.  Witness the former President Bill Clinton who, if the justice department had done its job, would have been imprisoned for sexual harassment of an employee.  But, no.  Apparently, dropping your drawers in the oval office is okay with Democrats…presumably if done by a Democrat!  Compare that to Presidents Bush, 41 and 43, who respected the office of the President so much that they would not even remove their suit coats in the Oval office!

Democrats pander to buy votes.  Witness the promise to college students that their loans will be subsidized.  Really?  Who took out those loans and whom do those loans benefit?  Witness the promise to illegal immigrants that their children can stay here, no matter how they arrived, and yet, the Justice Department challenges the state of Arizona in court for trying to enforce immigration laws. Witness all the big donors to the Democrats who have received millions of stimulus dollars for companies, even when the company was known to be failing.  Does Solyndra come to anyone’s mind?

Democrats are hypocrites.  They are  so used to obstructing and not enforcing U.S. laws that they miss the irony in the fact that a photo id is required to enter the DNC and yet, the Justice Department challenges voter id laws in many states!

So, while the DNC is patting itself on the back and making a big hoopla over their pride and joy, Clinton, who should really be their Scarlet Letter, they reveal how morally corrupt the Democrat party is as a whole.  There are good people within the party, but the guiding “lights” like Senator Reid, Pelosi, Schumer, and even President Obama and former President Clinton, blacken the reputation of the Democrats.  By allowing all manner of deviant behaviour and sidestepping our laws, the Democrats have become the lowest, “common” denominator in the United States today.

“Madison — Democrats read from Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a Dream” speech, accused Republicans of racism, and held the state Assembly at bay for a night this week in an effort to block a proposal that would remove race as a qualifying factor in the awarding of higher education grans.

As it turns out, a letter circulated Thursday showed race hasn’t been used as a factor for receiving the grants for more than a year, and the switch was made by Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle’s administration.”

The unemployment rate “dropped”   to 9.1 from 9.2 for July and already, the Democrats are rejoicing!

What they ignore is that there are STILL ….after 2 years of unfulfilled promises…9.1 % unemployed Americans!

Don’t they understand that 9,1% is still a huge number of our fellow citizens who can’t find a job? And, this doesn’t count the underemployed and those who just quit looking.

Democrats will crow long and hard about the dropping of .1%. They will ignore the 9.1% unemployed. After all, it sounds better to say we had a drop in the unemployment rate, however miniscule, than to say we still have 9.1% Americans without a job.

Talk about tone deaf?!  It’s time to make them face the same music the unemployed are hearing.  Let’s make President Obama and his minions join the unemployment line!

Only in America, and only a Democrat, would  claim that paying more in taxes is NOT a tax hike! They preach that since they aren’t suggesting raising the RATES, only eliminating EXEMPTIONS, that this does not amount to a tax hike.  Ha ha.   Does it matter whether you are taxed at a higher rate or whether the Democrats take away exemptions?  No.

What counts is the NET amount! For example,  if you’re taxed 60% on an income of $250,000, that means you are paying $150,000 in taxes.  Democrats would scoff at that 60% rate;  however, if you add up all the sales taxes, property taxes, income taxes, fees, etc., that is about the NET amount of taxes paid in today’s crazy taxation climate. But,  Democrats want to convince you that they aren’t raising taxes,  merely closing loopholes that the “wealthy”  are purportedly using to lower their tax rates.  But, no matter how the government takes your money, if the total amount paid in taxes is MORE than before, it is a TAX HIKE!

Democrats pretend that paying more taxes, due to fewer exemptions, is not a tax hike;  but, everyone knows that it’s NOT the titles that count, but the BOTTOM LINE.  But, what can you expect from a party that supported people like former President Clinton and Representative Weiner and even John Edwards until public indignation drove those Democrats to admit their immoral behaviour?  After all, Democrats defended Clinton even AFTER the facts came out.  And, he’s the guy who  gave us the new standard of morality when he defended himself by questioning the meaning of “is”!  After his performance in office, and we won’t discuss THAT, Democrats have been on a downward spiral in terms of their morals.

Regardless of the meaning of “is”, the meaning of  eliminating exemptions for anyone  IS a tax hike.

 

Democracy…..on hold…..

First there was campaigning for public office.  Candidates explained their positions on a variety of subjects, including the budget.

Next, there was an election.  Republicans won a majority of the offices.

Now, Governor Walker has followed through and proposed the budget he discussed during the campaign.

But, State Senate Democrats didn’t like the election results nor the proposed budget.  So, did they argue their views in the State Senate?  No, just like spoiled brats, they have decided they can’t win the vote on the budget and have left the state to stall a vote and, in effect, stall Democracy.  Shame on them.

The problem is that, for years,  unions have used their political muscle to elect Democrats and the Democrats are afraid to lose all that cash! If you ask an ordinary worker, most of us would say that governmental union workers are getting too sweet of a deal and that they are NOT entitled to these extensive benefits at OUR expense.  These benefits are NOT RIGHTS.  They are NOT EVEN  ENTITLEMENTS!  They are gifts from legislators attempting to repay unions for the union support — i.e., cash donations.  And,those outrageous benefits have to stop because, Christmas is OVER and  even Santa Claus has bills to pay!

After all, in a Democracy, we are supposed to be equal.  When unions and their bought legislators have more say than a legitimately elected governor and legislature, then there is no Democracy.  Until those Democrat senators return and do their job, we all suffer because Democracy is on hold.

Aretha Franklin sang about respect.

We all want respect.

And, now, Oprah feels that Obama deserves respect.

Where was Oprah when Democrats were  demonizing President Bush?  Where was she when a conservative administration made decisions, based on world-wide held beliefs and were called “liars”, “hypocrites”, and “Nazis” by the Democrats?  Where was she whenever the Democrats satirized and made false allusions about any non-Lieberal idea ?

Well, she was out to lunch all of those times.  But, now, she suddenly believes that the Presidency itself deserves respect.  Suddenly, the woman who claimed she was apolitical is determined to support a President.  Could it be because Obama is half black?  Isn’t that racism?  But, what other explanation could there be for her sudden foray into the world of politics?

Well, Respect is a two way street. Oprah’s going down a one way street, the wrong way…singing, but  not knowing the words to the song!  Maybe that’s why her show’s ratings have plummeted.

For your information, Oprah, the word is R-E-S-P-E-C-T,  and it should be applied to everyone, not just your favorite flavour of the day!

Why is this election becoming so virulently nasty?  Well,  Democrats are boxed in by their votes on Healthcare, the non-stimulus stimulus, the horrendous unemployment, the increasing numbers of home foreclosures, and even their inability to tell the truth on much of anything.

If it weren’t so vital to our future welfare, it might be funny to see how Democrats are scrambling to disassociate  themselves from anything to do with the very legislation they voted to pass!  Few Democrats want to stand shoulder to shoulder with Obama now! Do you notice how Democrats are suddenly “too busy” to appear with Obama when he comes to town?

Unfortunately, the elections are no joke.  And, also unfortunately, rather than argue the issues, Democrats are slinging mud.  After all, if you don’t have the issues on your side, obfuscate, change the subject, and throw mud.  That explains why  the Democrats are fighting back with erroneous ads about their opponents. And the mud slinging is not limited to Congress.   President Obama has called the American electorate “uninformed” and “scared”  to explain the majority of us opposing those invasive and unconstitutional laws he signed.   The irony is that people are “scared” because he, his policies, and his henchmen in Congress have totally destroyed our economy.

There is no way for any Democrat to face his constituents and defend these votes.  So, expect more attack ads by the Democrats.

After all, you know what they say about a cornered rat.  They fight dirty.

Hatred and Politics

The American public did NOT want the health legislation to pass, but Congress rammed it through anyway.  It’s no surprise that people are angry, frustrated, and just plain overwrought by representatives who did NOT represent their constituents.

Some, unfortunately, have decided to let their legislators know just how much anger there is by sending harsh emails, voice mails, and even a brick through windows.  This violence is NOT limited to Democrats who overwhelmingly voted against the American public.  Eric Cantor, Republican of Virginia, also had damage to one of his buildings.

Hatred in politics is nothing new, especially when an entirely new social order is being foisted on unwilling participants.  What is new is that the Democrats have decided to try to mitigate the anger against their “aye” votes by drumming up new anger against those who use violence to try to show their anger.  If Democrats can change the focus from their forcing national health care on Americans to fearing violence from opponents, then they are halfway to being redeemed in the public’s eye.

However, this is a bogus, and blatantly political response by Democrats.  They have used every dirty trick, every cunning ploy, and even dubious legislative methods to force this bill through.  And, now, they want to play the victim!

Despite their extolling the new health legislation, none of Congress nor the President  are required to participate in the program.  They have their own “special” policy.  How undemocratic is that?

Despite their assurances that the new health legislation would save money, any thinking American knows that you cannot increase a pool of recipients and save money.  No.  Democrats plan taxes that you won’t notice until you check your pension plan….like the 3.8% INCREASE in taxes on dividends which is a 25% increase in total taxes on dividends!

Despite Democrats lamenting the violence, they secretly relish it because they can then extrapolate and attribute such actions to anyone who disagrees with them.  Witness the allegations that teaparty groups “MUST” be responsible!

Hatred in politics in nothing new.  What is new is that the media repeatedly follows the party line of the Democrats all the while denigrating FOX news and the independents and conservatives who are begging for fiscal responsibility.  What is new is that Democrats piously downplay their role in fomenting such reactions and use it as a political ploy to try to save members who voted against the public’s wishes.  Those votes are the source of a great deal of anguish for those of us who will be paying yet again for someone else’s profligate ways and for some, a source of hatred.

Although they are trying to place the blame on others, through their actions and votes,  Democrats and Health care are now  synonymous with Hatred and Politics.
