Confused

After Walker’s victory in the Wisconsin recall, I’m confused about a few things.

1) First and foremost, the lieberals are trying to poo-poo it as a non-victory for the Republicans, going as far as saying that the cheering and gloating that Republicans are doing is stupid. Now wait, if they had won the recall would they not have done the same? When they proved they had enough signatures for a recall, they celebrated like the Packers had won the Super Bowl. It’s a classic two face that I find funny on one sense, and left shaking my head on another.

2) There’s a video of a Barrett supporter saying that, “This Is the End of Democracy”. Actually the exact opposite is true. This was is PROOF of Democracy in action. Whether or not you agree with Walker, he won fair and square by an election. This tells me that yes, there are people who disagree with Walker, but there’s also a greater majority of people who support his decisions and policies.

3) Finally, the one thing that I haven’t been able to grasp yet is the issues unions have with Walker. Yes, I can completely see that a union would be opposed because they want to be free and clear of some of the policies he’s pushing. I think they’re wrong, but I’m not arguing against that point. The one part I want to argue is the notion that teachers and public employees have to pay a minuscule amount towards their own pensions and insurance. I can’t help but draw parallels with Obama-care and how the lieberals would make me believe that I should pay more out of my paycheck for something that I do not believe in. They give me the typical bull-shit that it’s better for the populace and I should do it to help those in need. Great, then the teachers should put their tails between their legs and pay a little into their own pensions.

I’ve finally realized what this all means. Give me YOUR (private sectory) money, but I keep MINE (unions / public sector). I did a quick search of Wisconsin salaries for teachers. Yes, there are some low salaries on the list, but guess what, it’s not like I made 50k coming out of College either. The average sallary for an elementary school teacher is ~$51k. Now, that includes weekends off, Christmas break, Easter break, spring break and wait for it… 3 months off in the summer. Not to mention the awesome benefits, mega amount of vacation and sick time. I’d be a little incensed if they didn’t pay a little towards their pensions. I mean, I do… and I don’t rake in that much money… oh and I’m stuck in a suit during the summer… working 8-5.

But, enough griping about teachers… the moral of this rant is that yes…

WALKER WON BITCHES!

Governor Walker, Wisconsin

Opponents of Governor Walker are busily gathering signatures in an attempt to recall Governor Walker.   Much of the recall effort is being financed and supported by outside unions and Lieberal groups.

While it is the right of anyone to pursue a recall of just about any politician, isn’t it sad that these groups and individuals are willing to force the State of Wisconsin into spending $9,000,000.00 because they are mad that Governor Walker — and the other duly elected Wisconsin officials — have insisted that unions “pay their fair share” of their own health care insurance and that unions can NO LONGER STRONG ARM COMPANIES INTO GATHERING UNION DUES?

Unions have been gathering power and monetary perks for years because politicians are afraid of the political pressure that unions can bring to bear on any issue.  Last year, and this year, illustrated the extent of physical violence threats that unions and lieberals are willing to use against conservative policies.  Last year, and this year, illustrate the names and devious arguments that unions and lieberals are willing to use against conservative policies. Last year, and this year, the State of Wisconsin will incur a huge cost for these recall elections.

Is all this really necessary?  Is it really democratic for the unions to allow their thugs into our State capitol, into our State’s legislative activities, and now, even into the choice of our State Governor?  Do we really want George Soros’ surrogates demanding we recall our Governor?  Does anyone understand how much money is already saved, just by mandating that unions pay “their fair share” ?  Do we really want to spend $9,000,000.00 just because someone is unhappy with the current policies and that someone is unwilling to wait for another election cycle to challenge the duly-elected legislators?  Wouldn’t it be better to use that $9 million for state programs or state public work projects that could put people back to work?

Governor Walker was elected to change our state’s economic spiral down.  He was elected to create jobs for Wisconsinites.  He was elected to correct former Governor Doyle’s bad financial policies and, yes, even criminal acts by Doyle and his cohorts in the state legislature.  If you doubt this, notice that our state budget is now on a more financially sound basis.  Companies are hiring more workers, in the expectation that Wisconsin will help them build a good company, and not tax them to death.  And, Governor Walker, on behalf of the State of Wisconsin and based on a court decision, has repaid the money that Doyle illegally took out of a fund created and paid for by Wisconsin doctors.

It’s time to recognize that Governor Walker has made significant improvements to our state economy and HAS NOT raised our taxes.  He has simply asked everyone to work together for the good of Wisconsin.  And, like President Obama,  he has asked everyone, the unions included, to “PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE”.  Governor Walker is good for the State of Wisconsin.  Let’s keep him, the legislators who work with Walker, AND, the policies that are helping Wisconsin, in office!

VOTE FOR GOVERNOR WALKER!

Wisconsin………..

What some Democrat partisans see as a scandal…………

another Democrat, and a high-ranking Democrat, believes  is fair:

Ramona Kitzinger, the vice chair of Waukesha County Democratic party who observed the canvass, said she is satisfied the numbers are now correct.

There is NO scandal in this Wisconsin election, unless you want to believe that the initial results reported by the media were correct and have now been tampered with.  There is NO evidence that any tampering occurred!  In Wisconsin, there is ALWAYS a post-election canvass of the vote to make sure that it was an accurate count.  Just because the vote totals now reflect that Prosser won is not grounds for all the insulting and accusatory labels being heaped on Waukesha’s clerk.

If you “counted” on the initial count of votes, you were relying on preliminary numbers which, in this case, didn’t hold up.  There is nothing sinister here.

But, the unions and Democrats WANT there to be a scandal because they figure they can yell, scream and holler their policies into Wisconsin law once they convince the media that something underhanded occurred.   This from a party whose state senators fled the state rather than act like mature representatives of their state.

Wisconsin.  We love our state.  But, sometimes, we wonder why those who DON’T EVEN LIVE HERE are trying to tell us what to do!   Here’s our message for out-of-state unions — GO HOME.  If you have any bright ideas, use them to make your own state better.

Because, Wisconsin voted last November and we told our legislators THEN what we wanted NOW to help our FUTURE!

Me, me, me, me, me

Here in Wisconsin we have a big brew-haw-haw going on regarding the unions. I only want to touch on a part of those unions, the teachers. I never was the biggest fan of teachers due to their insanely good medical coverage, the fact they get weekends and holidays off… oh and that 3 month break in the summer is nice too. Wish my dad could have taken 3 months off every summer, a week at Christmas too. But I let bygones be bygones until I started working in a school. Teachers are some of the most selfish people I came to know. It’s never about what’s best for the students, it’s whats best for them. Oh sure, they’ll say it’s about the students but when the going gets tough teachers bitch and whine like a three year old in K-Mart. The administration is no better. The superintendent always makes it a point to say how important the students are, and that they are the #1 priority. Yet when something goes down on the network or if they couldn’t access their files, they bitch and cried until they are fixed first. Hey, shouldn’t the students be the first ones to fix?

With that aside, my focus of this post is on the teachers and their incessant bitching about the possibility of paying their pensions, paying for medical costs or whatever they are going to have to pay. EVERYONE else in the damn working world pays for those things. Why do they get handouts? They already get everything else handed to them, maybe it’s about time they pony up and pay. I know, I know, it’s like pulling the treat away from your dog at the last second. I mean, they already had that money given to them so you can’t give it to them and take it back, can you? Sure you can. They do it in other industries, why do they think they are so special? They think that only because people have been kissing their collective asses for too many years. Time for them to man up and get in the real world and out of their la-la land existence.

Which leads me to my last point -> Unions breed mediocrity. When your pay is not matched with how good of a teacher/worker you are, then why is there any need to go above and beyond. Being part of the union says one thing, you are not special. You could be the best teacher in the world, and yet you get paid less than that horrible teacher down the hall who’s been there longer than you. Just ass-backwards.

Discrimination FOR unions —

http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/unions_get_pecial_treatment_in_health_AB053CwqPIJlIxXAm37DOM

Discrimination is not only when one ethnic group suppresses another.  Discrimination occurs whenever one group of American citizens receives a special advantage over another and, usually, the discriminated group ends up paying more for something .  The health care reform legislation is just the latest, although one of the most blatant, example of discrimination against Americans who have tried to provide for their families and employees.   Already, certain  “superior” Americans like Congress and the President will not even be part of the reform!  How unfair and unAmerican is that?

If it’s good enough for everyday Americans, then it should be good enough for Congress and the President!

However, EVERYONE who actually pays the bills for big government knew it was only a matter of time before Unions, like Congress and the President, would be exempt from paying for this pseudo health reform bill.  Well, now it is official.  Unions will NOT have to pay for their Cadillac plans.  WHY DO UNIONS GET A SPECIAL BREAK?  The only reason to exempt anyone is that they are a voting group and are worth more to the Democrats in election years than the rest of us….so,they buy their votes with OUR tax dollars.

Of course this means that we, the ordinary folk,  will be paying even more to support yet another PREFERRED  group of Americans!

Thanks, Obama and Congress.  You have successfully bought the Union’s vote by exempting them from the Cadillac health care tax provision.  Discrimination is alive and well in Obama’s and Congress’  sphere of influence!
